About us

The institute of Finno-Ugric/Uralic Studies (directed by Prof. Dr. Beáta Wagner-Nagy) focuses on documenting and researching endangered Uralic languages. The projects carried out at the institute, particularly the long-term project [INEL](https://www.slm.uni-hamburg.de/inel/), produce high-quality datasets of otherwise under-resourced and under-studied languages.
