The dataset consists of 250 annotated photographs of cultural objects described in the Gresik dialect of Javanese using an informal register. The images represent locations in Gresik and Surabaya, East Java Province, Indonesia. Photos were collected from a variety of locations, including home, roads, markets, cafes, town square, and museums.

Intended Use
This dataset supports research and educational activities using images of cultural objects, particularly for image classification, object detection, visual culture analysis, and other data-driven applications.
The dataset uses Gresik dialect Javanese language in an informal register with some code-mixing with Indonesian, while foreign-language entities are remain in their original form.
Photographs of cultural objects were collected from accessible locations in Gresik and Surabaya, East Java Province, Indonesia: including home, roads, markets, cafes, town square, and museums. To ensure privacy, identifiable faces and private information appearing in the photographs were blurred.
The uniqueness of this dataset lies in its representation of local cultural characteristics specific to the Gresik–Surabaya area, East Java Province, Indonesia.
