The corpus contains four languages: Indonesian, Manggaraian, English, and Arabic. Geographically, Manggarai Regency is located in Flores Island, Eastern Indonesia. This regency is divided into three regions; East Manggarai, Middle Manggarai, and North Manggarai. Although those regions use the same language (Manggaraian), there are three different dialects respectively. Manggarai language is one of the Austronesian languages, linguistically it is an analytical language. This parallel corpus uses Manggarai language, especially Middle Manggarai dialect. This parallel corpus consists of parallel everyday language of Indonesian, Manggaraian, English, and Arabic

This dataset is intended for research, education, and cultural preservation purposes.
Forbidden Usage
The dataset users are not allowed to modify the orthography of the Middle Manggarai column, including punctuation. For commercial purposes, users must obtain approval of the dataset owner by sending an access request and explaining in detail the commercial products. Any form of compensation for commercial purposes is welcomed. The dataset is not allowed to be re-hosted, re-shared, and re-distributed so the dataset access is granted only from the MDC platform.
Ethical Review
This dataset was an Indonesian-English-Arabic parallel corpus which is owned by the Bahasa Bahana community. The parallel corpus was translated to the Middle Manggaraian dialect of Manggaraian by the owner of this dataset.
Intended Use
This translated dataset is intended for machine translation training Indonesian-Manggaraian and is provided for comparative linguistic studies between regional language dialects and Austronesian language, especially Manggaraian in Indonesia.
