This dataset contains annotated images of signs and signboards across the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) area, covering various types of public signage found at bus stops, public spaces, construction sites, and road environments. The annotations capture the visual and textual information displayed on these signs, including traffic signs, directional signs, warnings, public information, and construction-related signage.

Intended Use
The dataset provides a diverse representation of signage used in urban environments and can support research in image recognition, optical character recognition (OCR), and computer vision.
The dataset is primarily described in Indonesian, except for foreign-language entities, which are retained in their original language, such as English .
Images of signs and signboards across Jabodetabek were collected by photographing them from safe and accessible locations, such as bus stops, public spaces, construction sites, and roads, with close-range shots taken to clearly capture the visual and textual details while prioritizing safety and avoiding interference with traffic or public activities.
A unique aspect of this signage dataset is the variation in sign designs and types across different locations, such as bus stops, train stations, and construction sites. It also includes site-specific signage found exclusively in construction areas, such as warnings about construction vehicles, pedestrian zones, and temporary traffic diversions.
The dataset is limited to signage found within the Jabodetabek area, including the diverse signage variations, complexities, and conditions of public facilities across the region.
