This dataset contains a curated collection of challenging physics problems with detailed, step-by-step solutions. It covers advanced applications of geometrical optics, including mirrors, lenses, refraction, total internal reflection, dispersion, optical systems, image formation, and optical kinematics, along with selected magnetism problems. The problems are designed to go beyond routine textbook exercises by combining multiple concepts, mathematical reasoning, and physical interpretation. Each problem includes a clearly stated question followed by a structured worked solution with equations, calculations, diagrams or conceptual explanations where applicable.

Ethical Review
This dataset was created by the contributor from original physics problem-solving material and does not involve human participants, interviews, recordings, surveys, or collection of personal or sensitive information from individuals. Therefore, no formal human-subject ethical review was required.
Intended Use
This dataset is intended for AI and machine-learning applications involving physics question answering, reasoning, model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and benchmarking. It may also be used for educational technology and research applications that require challenging, multi-step physics problems with worked solution
The dataset was created and curated by the contributor as original physics problem-solving material. Problems were organized and structured with their corresponding worked solutions. The dataset is intended to represent challenging, multi-step physics reasoning rather than simple factual question-answer pairs. No personal or sensitive information is intentionally included.
